Subscription Terms

How your subscription with Resly works.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Our promise to you

Resly is built by developers who believe in transparency and simplicity. We want you to be our customer because you want to – not because you’re locked in. That’s why we have no long-term commitments and a straightforward, fair pricing model. These terms describe how your subscription works.

1. Subscription and envelopes

1.1. When you start a subscription, you choose a plan (Small, Medium, or Large) with a set number of envelopes per period, as listed on resly.se/pricing at the time of signup.

1.2. You can choose to pay monthly or yearly.

1.3. Unused envelopes in a given period do not carry over to the next period.

1.4. If you use more envelopes than your plan includes, the excess will be charged on your next invoice.

2. Upgrades and downgrades

2.1. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

2.2. When upgrading, we calculate what proportion of your current plan’s quota you have already used. You receive a proportional credit for your remaining period and pay the difference.

2.3. When downgrading, the new plan takes effect at your next billing period.

3. Payment and billing

3.1. Invoices are due within fifteen (15) days.

3.2. Prices may change. Current pricing is always available at resly.se/pricing. You will be notified at least thirty (30) days before any price change.

4. Cancellation

4.1. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

4.2. For monthly subscriptions, you can cancel within thirty (30) days of the invoice date without penalty.

4.3. For yearly subscriptions, our satisfaction guarantee applies during the first year (see section 5).

5. Satisfaction guarantee for yearly subscriptions

5.1. If you are not satisfied with Resly during your first year as a customer, you can request a refund.

5.2. The refund is calculated based on the percentage of your envelopes you actually used. If you used fifty percent of your quota, you receive fifty percent of your yearly payment back.

5.3. The satisfaction guarantee applies for twelve (12) months from your initial subscription date, regardless of any upgrades or downgrades during that period.

6. Service availability

6.1. We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the service at all times.

6.2. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

7. Your data

7.1. Resly’s own hosting, database and backups are at Elastx in Sweden. External services for email, SMS, identification and payments, among others, may process data in other countries. Recipients and safeguards are described in the privacy policy and, for processing on your behalf, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and annexes.

7.2. Resly processes customer documents and related personal data according to your documented instructions and the DPA incorporated into the customer agreement. You are responsible for lawful content, information to data subjects, permissions and appropriate retention. The DPA prevails on conflicting data processing provisions.

7.3. When the subscription ends, the company account remains read-only. You can view and download documents until you delete them or the company account. Resly assists with bulk exports on your instruction.

7.4. Deleting an envelope or company account immediately deletes its documents and related envelope data from the active environment. Copies may remain in backups for up to 90 days. Access logs are kept for one year and may contain envelope IDs. Accounting records and other processing for Resly’s own purposes follow the separate retention periods in the privacy policy.

7.5. Special category data may be processed only once legal authorisation and sufficient safeguards have been established under the DPA. Proposed new safeguards must be implemented and verified before Resly commits to applying them.

8. Liability

8.1. Resly provides a digital signing platform. You are responsible for the contents of documents sent through the service. This does not limit Resly’s own obligations under the DPA or mandatory law.

8.2. Resly’s total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid in the preceding twelve (12) months, to the extent permitted by mandatory law. This does not restrict data subjects’ rights or liability that cannot be excluded under GDPR.

9. Changes to these terms

9.1. We may update these terms. You will be notified at least thirty (30) days in advance of any material changes.

9.2. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
